SES pledged support to the people of Haiti in response to the recent tragedy that the nation endured.  SES matched all donations that its employees raised through the local support group of Heart to Heart International.

SES, Inc. is proud to announce that Jeff Bunch began his term as Vice-President of the Central Chapter of the Society of Wetland Scientists commencing on December 2, 2009, at the end of the Chapter’s annual meeting at the Prairie Park Nature Center in Lawrence, Kansas. 

Mr. Bunch joined the staff of SES, Inc. in March 2009 as Senior Ecologist/Environmental Scientist and will automatically succeed as Chapter President for his second term in office. 

The Society of Wetland Scientists is the world’s largest professional society of Wetland Scientists and represents those in the private, public, non-profit and academic sectors.  The Central Chapter of the Society encompasses Missouri and Kansas.

As the Food and Agriculture Chairman for the Missouri Public Private Partnership (MOP3), Mr. Frank Bryant, SES President, is encouraging all businesses and employees to participate in the CDC’s H1N1 flu planning programs.  SES is providing the following social media tools to access information about H1N1 flu.

SES is an approved verifier for offsets registered on the Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX).  SES is currently pursuing accreditation for verification under International Standards ISO 14065 and 14064. After accreditation is attained, SES plans to verify offsets for other GHG programs including the Voluntary Carbon Standard (VCS), The Climate Registry and The Climate Action Reserve.

Through a contract with the Multi-State Partnership for Security in Agriculture, SES is currently developing the nation’s first animal stop movement full-scale exercise between multiple states.  SES provides Homeland Security services to various federal, state and local governments, industries and trade groups.
