Applied Environmental Management Systems in Agriculture

May 25-26, 2004 ● Kansas City

A national two-day conference focusing on environmental management systems and how they relate to food production and processing was held May 25 and 26, 2004 in Kansas City at the Hilton Garden Inn Kansas City/Kansas. The conference was sponsored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, SES, Inc. of Lenexa, Kansas, National Council of Farmer Cooperatives, National Milk Producers Federation, National Association of State Departments of Agriculture,the Agricultural Business Council of Kansas City, an affiliate of the American Royal Association and the National Agriculture Compliance Assistance Center. In addition, this conference is promoted by the Iowa Farm Bureau Federation, Kansas Farm Bureau, Missouri Farm Bureau and Nebraska Farm Bureau.
