ABOUT SES

SES, Inc. (SES) was founded in 1998 with expertise in natural resources management, environmental consulting, agriculture and program development/verification.  In the past five years SES has expanded its expertise into the areas of carbon trading/sequestration, database development and management, as well as livestock production agriculture.  SES is now providing emergency response planning for all sectors of agriculture, including livestock, plant health and food defense.

SES’s principle mission is to provide its clients the highest level of customer service and technical expertise possible.  SES can deliver on this mission not by simply working for a client, but by taking on every project as if it were their own challenges they were addressing.

ANSI STANDARDS

SES was instrumental in the development of Good Environmental Livestock Production Practices (GELPPs) The GELPPs were further refined though their submittal to the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) for approval as American National Standards (ANS).  During this submittal, they were subject to an independent review by producers, academics, engineers, government officials and other interested parties.  Through this review process, the standards were revised, and all reviewers and developers achieved consensus on their final form.  The April 5, 2002 edition of ANSI’s Standards Action publication announces the final approval of the GELPPs.  more…
