SES to Participate in First U.S. Compliance Market for Carbon Credits

SES, Inc. (SES), a leader in the field of verifying carbon credits for voluntary programs, is now seeking accreditation to verify carbon credits for the first compliance market established in the U.S.  SES has applied to the California Air Resources Board (CARB) for accreditation as a verification body for CARB’s Compliance Offset Program.  Two Lead Verifiers from SES have attended CARB-sponsored training for offset verification in July 2012, and SES expects to be accredited by CARB for verification of livestock methane and ozone destroying substances (ODS) projects by September 2012.  Contact Rob Dobson, Director of Carbon Verification Programs for SES, at 913-307-0046 extension 18 for more information.
